Read with caution my thoughts are all over the place

You can send any recipes you want and if I feel like maybe tweaking them a little I may :)  I like experimenting so it's been fun trying new things (cayenne is my favorite spice right now).  We are eliminating a lot of the processed foods out of our diet so we do most things from scratch...as much as possible anyway. I have to say my homemade french bread is AWESOME!!
I do mostly chicken dishes, which is why I was hoping you still ate chicken. I'm just trying to figure out how to turn my chicken dishes into vegitarian dishes. I figured we would eat out some so I wasn't totally stressing when it came to thinking up new things, but I didn't like the thought of us eating one meal while you had to eat another. Even though Kate does that pretty much every night!
One thing I won't be serving is Southwestern Stuffed Acorn Squash, it was good the first night but I turned it into chilli the second day because I couldn't make myself eat sqush again.
If you get on Pinterest you can check out my food board and see if there is anything on there you might like.
Do you have anything you want to do while you are here besides go to Voodoo Donuts? If the weather is good there is a lot of outdoor things to do but not sure what is will look like come end of Dec. Praying none of us are sick!!!! So far we have been every month!!!
Have you thought about what you wanna do for mom this year? I'm drawing a blank as to what to get her.
Baby crying,,,,more later :)

Psst!

Moar posts!

Mom says that you're working really hard to accommodate my eating restrictions. I really appreciate that, but you don't have to stress over it. I'm not vegan or gluten-free so the only thing is just a lack of meat. You don't have to come up with a bunch of new recipes or stress out (though I REALLY appreciate you doing it). I just don't want you to go to a huge amount of trouble for me. I can even do some cooking for myself (or everyone if you guys want to try new things) if you'd like. Or I can send you some recipes that I use. Basically, I just don't want you to be stressing out over it or anything.

Other than that, I'm just looking forward to seeing everyone! =D

Love you!

We Really Do

I'm really glad to hear everyone's well!

I am crazy busy as always with school and projects and activities. I think sleep deprivation might be in my future. Graduate school is definitely a LOT more work than undergrad. I mean, I knew this intellectually going in, but actually experiencing it? Whole new ball game, lol.

Other than that I'm doing well. I've decided to start trying to date again (in all my spare time, lol). So far I've had 1 date this week and it definitely didn't turn out as planned. I have another tomorrow so hopefully that will go better.

I don't have any kids to tell you about other than A's. D just turned 16 and A turned 12 a couple months ago. OMG, Love, OMG. I really hope that when yours hit puberty they're nothing like this. They're both moody and on the verge of a meltdown ALL. THE. TIME. Were we like this as kids? I know we weren't perfect or anything, but this? THIS!? Sheesh, I hope not.

Hopefully, we'll be able to keep this up better now! Love you and miss you!

We suck at this :(

Ummm, ok 2 years of silence is enough. Let's see if maybe, quite possibly, hopefully we can start this back up!!

How are you?? YOU'RE COMING HERE IN DECEMBER!!!! :) It will probably be rainy but you will still have fun! How is school? How is life? How is anything and everything?

I'm doing good. I pretended I was a grown up the other day, it was quite weird but it got the job done so I guess I should try it more often. I'm trying to do more fun things with K, so I'm trying to remember what it was like to use my imagination! Right now it's simple things like discovering the differences between hard and soft and sorting my colors in containers. AND my favorite project homemade play-doh! I think I like it more then she does! S is well S. He recently learned how to reach, so he is hitting the computer as I type :)

Well it is of course the time when both of the darlings turn to monsters so I'm heading off but when I get back on there better be a reply!!!!
